The 2017 Boys Basketball sectional Championship team was eighteen and ten for the twenty-sixteen twenty-seventeen season. Their season accomplishments were sectional champs and fifth in the Pocket Athletic Conference. The boys had a well fought season. Starting the season slowly, the boys hit their stride at the right time. "When we learned to work together our season turned around," said Noah Fleck
In the player interview with Guard Noah Fleck; he states "When I saw the player from Mater Dei miss the last shot, I then realized we just won a sectional" being his favorite memorable moment from the season. Fleck also said "At the beggining of the season we didnt have good chemistry, but as we played together we started to understand how to play as a team."
Where is the team now? Senior Blake Mohr, now a Freshman at Western Kentucky University to major in Civil engineering. Juniors, Noah Fleck, Sam Englert, Daniel Lusk, Collin Hochgesang, Trever Zink, and Garrison Tretter will be returning as high-school seniors. Sophomores Elliott Rothgerber, Reid Steffe, and Aaron Hurst will returning as high-school juniors, and freshman Issac Ubelhor will be returning as a high-school sophmore for the twenty-eighteen twenty-ninteen season.
