Principal's Message

Hello,

Thank you for visiting the Forest Park Jr. Sr. High School website!  Forest Park is home to nearly 600 students in 7th-12th grade.  We take pride in the many successes our school has seen throughout the years of dedicated service to the education of our wonderful young people. These successes are a true testament to the hard work of our students, faculty/staff, parents, and Southeast Dubois County community as a whole!

In correlation with all Southeast Dubois County Schools, our vision is C.L.E.A.R.  Connect: we are a school community, and together, we must make the connections both in and out of school that shape our future.  Learn: perhaps the most important part of our vision.  The importance of learning and growing as lifelong learners is of utmost importance.  Engage: now more than ever, our students continue to grow in their education through engaged lessons and activities.  Furthermore, we must engage ourselves, as a community, in the pursuit of making Southeast Dubois a wonderful corporation!  Adapt: our students and teachers work together to ensure that learning is adaptive and fits the needs of everyone involved.  We are all different learners, and we must adapt to what works best for ourselves and others.  Reach: we must always reach for excellence in everything we do, not just in school, but in our lives.

As can be seen above, the work we do is never-ending and extremely important as we help to shape the future of our young people at Forest Park Jr. Sr. High School. We thank our parents and guardians for their partnership in educating their children.  We also certainly thank our Southeast Dubois community, and beyond, for their unending support of education.  Together, we make our community a wonderful place to learn.  GO RANGERS!

All the Best,

Tyler R. Lemen
